New App Launch Alert: Mama.Media x Depot Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen! 

We are excited to share with the world our collaboration with Depot Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, where visitors are invited to experience iconic paintings in an entirely new way. Thanks to our creative touch screen kiosk app, art lovers can now explore high-resolution images of over 600 masterpieces—zooming in and out to appreciate the finest details and even viewing both the front and the often-overlooked back of each canvas. This out-of-the-ordinary access allows visitors to connect with the art on a deeper, more intimate level.

But the story doesn’t end with the paintings themselves. When admiring a painting, do you ever think about the frame? At Boijmans, the frames are celebrated also as artworks, each with a rich history and craftsmanship that reflect the artistic and cultural context of their time. The museum has dedicated the past four years to an extensive research project uncovering the stories behind these frames, culminating in the publication of the Boijmans Study "Kunst omkaderd" (“Art Framed”).

Our kiosk app is directly linked to this groundbreaking study, bringing all the fascinating stories of the frames to life. Whether you are an art enthusiast or just a bit curious, this  experience invites you to explore the hidden layers of history, technique, and artistry that make each piece truly unique.
