Interactive Satellite Applications.
Ever wondered what's hiding behind a masterpiece?
What if you could see what's hiding beneath a Rubens? Or discover that the frame around a painting has its own fascinating story?
For Depot Museum Boijmans van Beuningen, we built an interactive kiosk app that lets visitors explore art in ways that weren't possible before. Zoom into individual brushstrokes across 600+ masterpieces. Flip canvases to see their backs. Use X-ray and infrared scans to reveal the hidden layers, the underdrawings and changes that show how paintings evolved.
We also created an AI-powered search tool that makes the museum's 2,500+ paintings accessible through simple keywords. Do you want to find all the paintings with dogs? Or all the paintings with sunset scenes? Just type it in, our app knows what you mean.
Additionally, Mama.Media’s platform powers the programming of films shown in the museum’s Film Hall through our Cinema App. The curators of the museum use our platform to schedule a rotating selection of films, so visitors always get to experience a mix of high-quality content.
For Centraal Museum Utrecht, we turned "Atlas Munnicks van Cleeff", 1.500 drawings from the 1600s, into a digital time machine. Visitors can search for their street as it looked 300 years ago, zoom into forgotten castles, and follow the journeys of the cartographers who mapped an entire province by hand.
We create interactive satellite apps that transform collections into living stories, because art and history aren't meant to sit behind glass.
Wondering what's possible for your collection? Let's talk.
